DESCRIPTION:Grand Auction of Talents/Promises\n In aid of St Mary's Church General Fund. \nEntry by catelogue available from Tom Bounds\, High Street\, Kington\, Ann Edwards 230271 or Rodney Bowdler 231501  from November 7th £6 to include ploughman's supper\, glass of wine and a paddle. \nif you can't attend but wish to make a bid please contact Ann or Rodney. \nKADOS to entertain with songs from the shows \nKington – a Grand Auction of Talents and Promises  - 19th November 2016 \nA grand Auction of Talents and Promises is to be held in Kington at the Masonic Hall\, Headbrook\, on Saturday November 19th (7.15pm for a 7.30pm start).  It promises to be a fun packed evening of entertainment with over sixty fantastic lots\, offered by members and friends of St Mary’s Church\, Kington. Bids will be invited for a trip in a hot air balloon\, logs for the fire\, vouchers for afternoon tea and pub meals\,  food hampers\, days out to local visitor attractions\, jars of luxury home-made mincemeat\, visits to the hairdresser or a beauty treatment\, gardening\, car valet\, an MOT\, a day watching the cricket at Worcester  … and much more besides. \nThe price of £6 for an auction catalogue includes a Ploughman’s Supper and a glass of wine\, with ‘Songs from the Shows’ provided by members of Kington Operatic Society during the interval.  Catalogues are obtainable in advance from Tom Bounds\, High St\, Kington or from Ann Edwards (01544 230271) or Rodney Bowdler (01544 231501) and on the door. \nAll proceeds raised from the Auction will go to St Mary’s Church\, Kington (General Fund) to help with the running and maintenance of Kington’s historic parish Church.
