SUMMARY:Swan Brewery
DESCRIPTION:Here’s something to look forward to at the end of this week: our “black” Tasting Day.  The beer in the spotlight is Black Swan\, to be joined by a selection of cask ale friends.  For this batch of our 4.5% roasted coffee stout\, we’ve sourced Guatemalan coffee from Method Roastery\, cold brewed it\, and added it to the fermentation vessel.  This dials up the inherent roasted\, coffee notes of the dark grains used for brewing. \n  \nThe rest of the blackness is from the Black Country.  We’ve The Rotundas: Nick and Ian\, who play traditional industrial and social songs from Birmingham and the Black Country\, joining us between half twelve and half two. \n  \nFood-wise we are showcasing the fine fare of the Black Country: cheese and onion cobs\, ham salad cobs\, salad cobs (and they are called cobs – how fitting!)\, bally filler (bread pudding) and pork scratchings.  Food is available all day. \n  \nWe run from 9am to 6pm.  It’ll be a brew day so there will be warmth indoors.  The big gazebo will be up outside and there will be tables and chairs. \nCygneture Ale\, 3.6% flavoursome chestnut and Black Swan\, 4.5% roasted coffee stout are our late February specials. \nBewick's Best is proper best bitter at a comfortable 4.5%\, with Challenger hops added at the beginning of the boil for crispness and Head Brewer’s favourite Goldings hops for spicy\, honey aromatic hop character - from w/c 2nd March. \nTasting Days:\n6th March\, 9am to 6pm Black Swan 4.5% + 4 other cask ales\, music from the The Rotundas\, traditional Back Country food.\n3rd April\, 9am to 8pm new Bald Eagle 3.5% + 4 other cask ales\, food from Ted’s Tacos and fund raising head shave at 4.30pm. \nSwan Brewery\, Unit 17\, Brunel Road\, Enterprise Park\, Leominster\, Herefordshire\, HR6 0LX.\nBrewery open every Friday 9-4.\nT: 01568 617709 M: 07377 728822
