The ancient village of Wigmore is known for its C12 castle, home to the Mortimer family and now a 'romantic ruin', and its medieval church. The two gardens are both within 100yds of the parking area. Bury Court Farmhouse has a ¾-acre garden, 'rescued' since 1997, surrounding an 1840's stone farmhouse (not open). Newport House-Out of Nature
Newport House-Out of Nature Sculpture Exhibition In October 2017 we stage the third Out Of Nature sculpture exhibition in the gardens and grounds of Newport House in Herefordshire. For three weeks, 1–22 October, more than 40 sculptors, from all over the UK, many with an international profile, create a visual feast set against the stunning autumnal colours of Newport House gardens. The Weir Garden-Foraging Course
