NGS Rhodds Farm Lynonshall HR5 3LW Open Garden The garden began in 2005 and is still a work in progress. The site is challenging with steep banks rising to overhanging woodland but has wonderful views. Formal garden leads to new dovecote, mixed borders have interest throughout the year with the double herbaceous borders of hot colours being particularly good in summer. Total 6 acres. ½ acre of lavender borders, rose bank, terraced lawns and shrubberies leading down to a bog garden. Over a brook to a birch grove, Wave Garden and up to orchard terraces. Beyond is a new 3 acre woodland, planted between avenues and a central meadow. Behind the house is a layout for the cloister, a swimming pond and wild field - level at the top ready for an Earthwork Art project.
