Kington Walks
Nestled below Hergest Ridge, the historic drovers' town of Kington stands alone from a walking perspective, with more long-distance paths converging on the town than almost anywhere else in the UK. The hard working committee has put together an exciting and varied programme of over 30 walks for 2019 to include some walk repeats from previous festivals as well as some brand new ones. Jane Keay, a well known local artist who exhibits in the Made in the Marches Gallery is the tutor of the Kington club The classes take place on Thursday afternoons from 2-4pm at the Marches Gallery in Church Street. Each term, Spring, Summer and Autumn, lasts ten weeks. The will run again on Saturday 28th September 2019, starting as always at Huntington Village Hall at 12 noon and finishing as always at the Swan Inn. Run it, ride it, bike it or walk it, all are welcome-bring your friends.
