There are many activities in and around Kington.

Cycling
Herefordshire offers some of the finest cycling countryside in Britain, and Kington on the Welsh borders is ideally situated. We can offer not only quiet lanes and beautiful countryside but also superb views and the contrast of valley and hill.

Family Activities
Family activities include The Small Breeds Farm, Kington Museum.

Gardens
Kington not only has its own very special garden open to the public, namely Hergest Croft Gardens but within easy reach of Kington are many gardens of all sizes, situations and content.

Historic Sites
Within the Kington area can be found a wide range of historic sites. These include iron age camps, a prehistoric burial ground , churches and other historic buildings.

Recreation & Leisure
These include the usual activities such as golf, fishing, riding, bowling but there is also climbing and dingle scrambling, mountain boarding or ballooning. Why not try something new?

Walking
Kington has a reputation for excellent walking and in recent years more walkers are visiting the area. The town has its own walking festival, Kington Walks, established in 2012 which runs over 4 days in mid September with the addition of a Spring Festival in April.
